Last night snow fell all over Israel (though not here in the Krayot)... check out Yediot Ahronot for some amazing pictures: http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-3844235,00.html
(The captions are classic: "C'mo b'Europa!" "Choref amiti"-- Just like Europe! Real winter!)

Jerusalem is having no snow. Yay!

Naatz, no snow? Someone else just told me that it was snowing and hailing in Jerusalem! I'm pretty sure we had hail last night here, too.
ReplyDeleteThe language-learning site looks really cool, although probably not as necessary in a place as diverse as Israel, at least if you want to learn the language of a country with a Jewish population... it might be really useful to some readers who are trying to learn Hebrew from the US. Have you used the site? What did you think?
We got seven inches of snow last weekend! (I'll have pictures up soon.) Our neighbor said the last time it snowed like this was in 1989. Everything shut down for four days, waiting for it to melt. crazy!
ReplyDeleteps miss you!
Haha, that's what happens when you rub spring in our Pennsylvania faces. :) Hope you enjoyed getting a brief look at the sparkly white stuff.
ReplyDeleteNope. No snow in my turf of Jerusalem {Mt Scopus}. I'd know -- I kept checking.

At least we don't have THREE FEET of snow, like my parents back in the states. Yesterday was a short sleeves and shorts day in Israel!
